One of the first Bangkok's minimal HIP hotel
Hidden from many but familiar to the most discerning travelers, this luxury city-centre hideaway is a perfect point for exploring Thailand's capital city. With 13 rooms and suites, there is no pool, no gym, no bar, the exclusive LUXX certainly makes up for with Space, Style, and Privacy. Besides, you have a whole world of Bangkok's nightlife on Silom Road. So, why need a bar in your hotel?
Open in 2006, LUXX was converted from a lackluster double commercial houses located on Decho road, just off the busy Silom area of Bangkok. An architect and a designer together metamorphosed the building into a small designed boutique property. Standing five stories high, LUXX features 13 rooms and suites, from the spacious Suites (50sqm+) and Studio (33sqm+) to the cozy Compact L (25sqm) and Compact S (20sqm) - all equipped with features and amenities that bring both design character and comfort.
Despite being labeled one of the smallest hotels in town, room space itself was not compromised. A wood framed double glass wall from all rooms overlooks the Zen-inspired pebble garden, adding to the spaciousness and creating a sense of tranquility. If the heat of the city exhausts you, treat yourself to a stress-relief soak in LUXX's signature wooden tub, big enough for two. The rain shower helps add that extra flair to LUXX's original Zen theme. The bathroom partitions can be opened and you can even watch television from the bathtub if you are so inclined.
