A RICH HISTORY

LUXX Silom was one of the first boutique hotels to open in Bangkok.

Originally a commercial shop house located in the historic Silom business district, the building was re-imagined, renovated, and opened for business as a hotel in 2006.

Converting the family shop house into a boutique hotel was a ‘labor of love’ undertaken by the project architect and designer. Their hard work and creativity inspired the development of a 13-room hotel - featuring four types of rooms - that showcases sophisticated, minimalist design elements.

Many of the 13 rooms are set up like a studio apartment - with a partition separating teak soaking tubs, and waterfall showers, from the living space. Small writing tables next to the mini bar also double as a vanity. LUXX provides a chic and private accommodation experience.

While the Silom and Sathorn districts are home to many financial services companies, banks, and embassies, they are also renowned for their hotels, markets, temples, eateries, bars, nightlife, street food areas, and malls. From the LUXX Silom location on Decho Road, many of these destinations are about a 10-15 minute cab ride away. The Chong Nonsi BTS skytrain station is also 12-minutes by foot.

SUCCESS BREEDS SUCCESS

LUXX Silom was very well received by guests - it was also recognised with awards and a lot of press coverage. Its success led to the opening of a 'sister' hotel - LUXX Langsuan in 2009 - on Langsuan Road.

Both LUXX hotels share a similar design look and feel, and offer a hip, personal guest experience in the heart of Bangkok.
